Windows 10 has some known issues and one of them is the WiFi connectivity randomly turning off. Apparently, this problem has been plaguing Windows 10 users for a long time now, but Microsoft has yet to release a fix for the issue. However, don’t you fret over it, just follow our step-by-step guide and you’ll be able to fix that problem in no time.

Nothing is more frustrating than having your wifi constantly interrupted when you need it most.

Many Windows users have this problem on their Windows computer: as soon as they turn on WiFi, it automatically disconnects and does not reconnect.

In this guide, we will focus on …..

Many Windows users experience this problem when the Internet on Windows computers goes down every few minutes. This can be caused by many factors, from bad drivers to inadequate configurations.

But the good news is that you can fix this wifi error yourself if you follow the instructions carefully.

Message: If this problem occurs on all your devices, your router may be the cause.

Manual update of the WLAN adapter drivers

Many Windows users say that this is by far the most useful solution they have found to solve the problem when their computer’s Wi-Fi connection is constantly interrupted.

Then try it.

Carefully follow the steps below to manually update the wireless drivers:

Press Windows + R and type devmgmt.msc in the window that opens.

The device manager will open, find section network adapter and expand that section and find your wireless network adapter in it (I have a Qualcomm Atheros).

How do I determine what the driver of my wireless network, adapter is?

To find your WLAN adapter, go to Control Panel > Network Center > Change Adapter Settings, right-click on your WLAN and select Properties.

You will see the name of your network card driver (in my case, it is Qualcomm Atheros).

Now that you know the name of your driver, right click on it and select Update.

From there, click on Search for drivers on my computer

Choose now

Now try to find a driver model similar to yours, but with different connection types, or if there is an original version and a Microsoft version, choose the original version.

Here you can select Qualcomm (not Microsoft) and see if that solves your problem or not.

Try a different driver if you have more than one. If this did not solve your problem, see the following solution.

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue when activating the wireless network:

Open Control Panel (look for Control Panel after you press the Windows key to search).

Open Control Panel, click Network Center and Sharing , and then Edit Adapter Settings.

From there, right-click on your WiFi and select Properties.

The WLAN properties window opens and you click on configure.

Now go to the Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Click OK and restart.

Follow the steps below to automatically install the correct network adapter drivers:

Press Windows + R and type devmgmt.msc in the window that opens.

The device manager will open, search for network adapters, expand this section and find the WLAN network adapter.

Once you find your network adapter (in my case it’s Qualcomm Atheros), right-click on it and click remove (don’t worry, it will be reinstalled upon reboot).

Now restart the computer, the computer will automatically install the latest available version of the network adapter.

Reset Wi-Fi AutoConfig Service

If none of the above solutions help, follow the steps below to restore Wi-Fi service:

Press the Windows logo key + R and type services.msc in the window that opens.

Now locate the WLAN AutoConfig service and double-click on it .

Now select Startup type Automatic and Click on Apply and ok to save the configuration.

Now restart your computer and check if you can connect to Wi-Fi as usual.

If none of these solutions helped you solve your Wi-Fi outage problem, you may want to buy a new router.
